AN ANCIENT SITE

Whilst excavating an unknown stone age site in South Wales, Sir Cyril Fox and his team discovered a large circular structure containing a number of bones. His team carefully documented this find using extensive sketches
and rudimentary photographic equipment.

This image depicts the Rigara remains within a narrow dig trench characteristic of Fox's method of excavation. In the background several archaeological implements are visible.
